Yeah, this is good stuff. You know, even though this is a ghost ship, what I find most fascinating about this still piece of artwork is the sense of forward motion in its composition. What I mean is that from the left side I see very strong white, but as I move my eyes to the right we see the subject and the shades becoming stronger and stronger -- until we reach less intense space on the very right side, with a line reaching out of the ship, indicating a reach for the unknown. I guess the only thing I might suggest about something like this is that there might be too much white space over the top of the ship in the upper half of the composition -- although this is merely a personal preference, I guess. I don't know where you were when you took the photo, but maybe if you were lower to the ground, you could have gotten more of the ship and more of the water in composition space (as well as maybe lessening that tree on the left-most side of the ship?). If you're going for the isolated, forgotten ship vibe -- the white space definitely makes sense. (Take what I say with a grain of salt, because you're a better photographer than I) This is how I see it: though this is a ghost ship, in this photo you've made it very much alive. Great work.
